Guys if you didn’t see Laduma’s LFDW2016 showcase, it
was totally mind blowing, this was a collaboration between himself and young
Lebo Austin who makes crocheted bralettes inspired by Laduma’s designs – “Lebo
had just seen some of my deigns online, when she saw recent collection, she saw
the tassels, the way that I had played around with them and she started making
tassels on these bras which she said were inspired by my designs. I reached out
to her and told her that I wanted to expose and showcase her bralettes which
are crocheted by hand. I suggested a collaboration and told her about my
showcase at the Lagos fashion & design week, letting her know that her
pieces will be promoted with all due credit given to her.” See more pix
